OutKast always seemed more interested in probing the depths of their interests over settling into one idea. AD LOADING... For 14 years, the Atlanta duo synthesized their voracious musical appetites, continuously blurring the boundaries of Southern rap--a genre they could be credited with inventing. The two played off of each other perfectly.

Really, we should have seen it coming. André 3000 and his flute are part of internet meme lore , the rapper popping up in all kinds of unexpected locations, tootling ad hoc in a kind of pastoral yet also thrillingly cool way.
